AOL launches India portal, refreshes U.S. site – Yahoo! News
Now THIS definitely sounds funny! America Online, aka, AOL, is going to launch AOL.in, and it’ll be specific to the Indian audience. Now THIS is funny – why isn’t it IOL (India Online)? Because most of India isn’t online? Anyway, it sounds weird, but at least, AOL offers bigger attachment sizes than others. Which, is of no use until the recipient can receive such files too. With AOL.in, I guess we can squeeze in a bit more MBs. Not that we couldn’t sign up for AIM and get one earlier, but now, we won;t have to gawk at content targeted for US viewers.
Also shows how India is becoming more important on the Internet.
One reply on “America Online India?!”
It’s just showing that AOL sucks!
NO ONE VISITS AOL.COM, AND I MEAN NO ONE, after they released private info to the govt of US.
