DPS VK Quiz Club Intra 2007

The DPS VK Quiz Club Intra 2007 was held on Wednesday, 22nd August. Boy did we have a major issue. Even though the timing of the event was announced at the last minute, too many people turned up than we could handle / had papers for (only 42 copies) / had places for them to sit. Ended up sending most of them back, retaining mostly the current members, Code Warriors (whom I called along just for wasting their study time) and some people I knew.

As I expected, the paper was something which left people stunned. Except for the members, who were prepared for this sort of stuff, most others weren’t, and ended up getting abysmal scores. So in case you’re in a mood to humiliate yourself and show that you really don’t know trivia quizzing, here are the papers… šŸ˜‰

DPS VK QC Intra 07 downloads:

The font used in the publicity poster is Mason (nice find, Waris). Talking about fonts, the official font of the Code Warriors is Jokerman. And if the paper depressed you so much as to want the official font of Extras Unlimited, it’s Nowdance.

PS – For the people who did try the paper, whether on that day or after downloading from here, please do add your feedback as comments!

The QC Intra was one of the best quizzes I’ve ever taken, seriously. Especially question numbers 5, 9 (albumin could be taken as a clue), 16, 24 (though Southpark followers would have got it anyhow), and 25

nice work guys in setting the paper …really good questions especially the Q1 3 5 18 24 and 31.!!nice variety of topics
great work

@SF: Thanks! First period you missed, is it?

@Arjun: Thanks! Albumin / albino would’ve been a total giveaway, so I decided against against them. I was disappointed that nobody got the Calvin or the Osama question correct.

@Anon: Thanks!

The finals were really good, unlike the prelims, which was a total history test. The finals had lots of good current trivia. The visual ones were even more easier though, the Sun Microsystems one, the Blue ray one and the BSOD one…
Nice work though, do put up the MSM paper as well, I would like to see that.

I only got 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 15, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28.

Man, I’m out of touch.
