FeedBurner -> Google FeedBurner

Today I was forced by FeedBurner to migrate my accounts to a Google account. My feeds (including the comment feed) therefore have now shifted from…

http://feeds.feedburner.com/ankurbdotinfo

…to

http://feeds2.feedburner.com/ankurbdotinfo

You don’t need to worry because the older feed will be automatically redirected to the new one. Email delivery will be “…powered by Google” instead of FeedBurner, but no other change apart from that.

I don’t understand why Google is doing this. Why bother will all the migration and redirection? They could’ve simply just migrated the account without the URL changes and “from now on you need to login from feedburner.google.com”. When you take over a company, learn something from Yahoo! and the way they handled Flickr / del.icio.us transition.

See you at BCD6!

BarCamp Delhi 6 is happening tomorrow and day after tomorrow (28 February & 1 March) at Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. The official BarCamp Delhi website has all the details. A lot of work has gone into this and we’ve some exciting sessions lined up…so I do hope everyone enjoys at the event. We’ve somewhere around 250 people registered for the event as of now, and do hope most of them will come. We’ve also urged members of the #bcd6 (that’s the Twitter tag for the event) to come forward and pitch in with carpooling. Amit Verma has come up with stunning desktop wallpapers too. Enjoy…and see you there at BCD6.
