There’s a whole quiz archive on the Jack Kilby Science Quiz, thanks to Prateek Vijayavargia; unfortunately I haven’t edited it yet. So for all those people going tomorrow for this year’s edition, here are some sample questions which might help you. These are from the organisers’ themselves (I think).

i remember missing out last year by 1 solitary mark. ochintya told me i had 23. the qualifying was 24. the guy with 24 WON the quiz in delhi although my friends from chennai, aaslesh n jayadev won the national final. last try 2mrrw then…

Can you please try ur best and put up the qustions that came in 2007?????if not just help me………tell me how do i prepare for the jack kilby quiz???????

bad luck…finished 4th today in the regionals. the difference between me and the winners( dps rkp…urgh!) was just 5 marks. its like this
1. DPS RKP: 85
2. SPV: 82
3. DPS Rohini: 81
4. Amity Saket (A): 80 [my team]
5. Amity Saket (B): 70
6. Sprindales Pusa: 56

this was one cloooose quiz…..feel dejected ’cause i missed the iPod, the telescopes and the nxt robotics kit….aah well then….maybe another quiz in the future 😐

@Agrim: Ooh, that’s a really close quiz. Must hurt real bad to miss out on all those goodies by a whisker. Never mind, well done on a good performance, and sure hope the experience you gained helps you in the future.

BTW, what was the scoring system like? 1-2 mark questions seem weird…

oh yes…forgot to tell you the marking system! sorry coz u asked abt it a loong time back. anyways, the marking system was weird coz it included marks from the written. so missing out easy ones in the written cost us a good position….:P

well i must say that we lagged behind a lot. finished 6th.
the buzzer let us down as it did AMITY (both teams) too

well played but don’t u think with questions like HUBBLE and DALTON it was quite easy for dps rk and spv.
Others had to work hard for their points

Hey dude, cud u plz get an archive of the questions asked in the national finals of this quiz as i need to prepare myself fr it. BTW i’mm the winer of the pune regionals 2008.

and yeah i forgot to thank you coz i used the archives from ur amazing blog, so that i cud prepare fr the regionals. TY a lot and wud really appreciate if u cud provide me with the questions asked in any of the national finals. preferably 2007.
