An advertisment for Yahoo! Messenger on the Reliance Mobile network, which has been doing the rounds recently. While certainly not something as stunning as some Airtel ads et al, it definitely caught my attention because of its fresh outlook. More specifically, because it’s something I do a lot – check email and IMs on my cellphone – and that too right from the time when I get up in the morning (like that guy in the Yahoo! Messenger ad). Plus, I like the chicks – especially the one in the last scene; and the last scene itself because of a) the nice idea b) nice beach c) (repeat) nice chick (/repeat).

This as comes a lot on National Geographic – And it seems irritating to me…But still…Anyways, have been using Yahoo Go 2.0 on my Ipaq…And it runs pretty well – For IM I use OctroTalk (Gtalk) as most of my contacts are on gtalk.
@Prateek: Oh, there are quite a few IM apps indeed, although I’ve not heard of OctroTalk yet…
Ya I know there are many but the best for Yahoo messenger are paid services…Anyways, am happy with freeware and shareware 😉
@Prateek: Y! Go is pretty good itself. Of course, freeware rules. 🙂
BTW, RIM World charges way too much for this service.
@Naman: I know. Rs 5 / login IS quite costly indeed.
