More details about Cradle Sports Open Quiz on 16th January

Cradle Sports School Quiz Invitation
Cradle Sports School Quiz Invitation

I mentioned the fact that Cradle Sports will be conducting a general quiz a few days ago. (Read that post up for more details.) The venue has now been finalised – it will be held at Siri Fort Auditorium. The school edition of the quiz starts at 8.30am while the open edition of the quiz will start around 1-2pm. All the other details about team composition, rules, etc remain the same. To register for the quiz you need to send an email to [email protected] listing out you team composition. There’s no last date for registering as such – you can sign up for the quiz till 15th January.

PS – Prateek has made some new posts on his blog on some quizzes he’s attended in the past few months, such as Econorm 2008 held at DPS RKP. Check them out for a few nice questions, although believe me, the one on 16th January will probably be even more fun.

Pronoob Alert!
Your previous post and my research about this guy thereafter has already started scaring me.

@Espera: Either way, the quiz will be fun. I don’t think it will be f*-ed up. After all, the cricket quiz went off pretty well since the Cradle Sports team worked on research and other quizmasters were there on stage. And if it turns out to be a ‘typical Parnab quiz’, even then I wouldn’t miss out on the ‘fun’.

@ Espera – There is nothing to be scared. The research for the Quiz is being done by the Cradle Sports Team. So its definitely going to be a good quiz.

is there a team name too?
and do we have to register for the 2nd open quiz beforehand?

So you think it’ll have much about sports?

Er, and, do we just print this sheet out and send it over? I mean, is that enough?

@Espera: You can email your registrations to the email ID mentioned. It’s a general quiz, even though it’s being conducted by Cradle Sports. Which edition are you participating in?

@Vishesh: The school edition’s only open for school kids participating from a school team (i.e., no ‘mixed teams’ consisting of people from different schools). The open edition is one where anyone can form a team.

The school version, I think.
But can we register for both?

Separately? I mean, sit for the quiz twice?

@Espera – Yes you are free to register for both the editions though I am expecting the level of the Open Quiz to be quite high and maybe sitting in it just to gain some experience.
