Code Wars 2007 : LOADSa DownLOADS

It took some time to compile all this stuff before Code Wars 2007, it took some time after Code Wars 2007 to get this form out. Finally, all files are done and finally up on my server. Presenting to all folks, the Code Wars 2007 Archive – a comprehensive collection of ALL the stuff that came in Code Wars 2007, each and every event, each and every stage (WITH solutions, if applicable). Enjoy…and send in your feedback on all the questions papers which came. All these are zipped files containing the PDFs and / or the images / whadev came in each event.

I’m damn sure NO other club is as prompt at doing stuff like this which everyone promises to do, but never does, unlike us. Frankly, the Code Warriors website kicks ass as far as update frequency goes. It’s also the reason our site got more than 10,000 hits in the past month (we’d promised our sponsors 2000). That’s up from last year’s 5000 hits.

Me and Arjun really enjoyed bringing all these questions together from various diverse places, do tell us how it was. 🙂

Some of the questions in crossword.. DPS MR’s tech symposim & MINET & Access.. They don’t relate to technology

@Anon: …but they do relate to TECH symposiums. We put those in because we were damn sure nobody would even bother to think along those lines. Anyway, our initial prelims were WAY tougher than this, but we decided to make it a bit easier by putting in lighter stuff. And STILL most teams got such low scores. 🙁

But AnkurB, my point is that your job is not to make the quiz/crossword tougher by putting unexpected questions. I am not in New Delhi, so I am just guessing things. The Crossword was to check the IT awareness right ? So how would these questions on tech symposiums help people develop their knowledge ? How would they help you & other teams for that matter when you’re competing on national & international stage. Those are my two cents but I really do believe that you guys must have worked hard.. + I’ve a proposal for you.. I’ve a guy from a Delhi school (who is the president of his school’s IT club).. working with me on it. if you’d like to join!

@Anon: Which guy, which IT club, and what exactly? Anyway, quite a few schools did get the tech symposium stuff. It’s not only for increasing their tech knowhow, we just put it there for fun, and nothing else.

I don’t exactly remember his school, but his name is Maneel. The project is that we’ll be building a symposium database thus eliminating the need of sending invitations. Any school can login & check which symposiums are available & register.

@Anon: Such a service already exists. Go to ComputerSymposiums.com; very popular last year, almost everyone coordinated from there. Dunno why the craze for it died out this year though. Anyway, ComputerSymposiums is still a very popular site. Maneel, the guy from Jaspal Kaur Public School or something?

Yes, do you know him ? You seem to be well networked. I told him about you & he praised you a lot. Anyways, the service I am talking about will be much more interactive than this. Maybe we’ll fuse together two or more scripts (read:CMS) to create a custom one & then we’ll probably make it some sort of official portal if our talks with different school gain us something. This way you can promise your sponsors even more hits..!
